Mortgage & Rent Assistance

Wild Rivers Habitat for Humanity is proud to be able to provide mortgage and rent assistance for eligible income households needing assistance due to loss or reduction of income as a result of unexpected circumstances. This is made possible through a grant provided by the St. Croix Valley Foundation. Applicants must reside in our service area (our 9 counties), provide our usual income verification items and background checks, provide a copy of the rental agreement/lease, a copy of a mortgage statement showing delinquency. Assistance is capped at $1,000 per application and will be paid directly to the mortgage lender/bank or landlord. Funds are not unlimited and will be paid out on a first come, first serve basis.
