Join us for the 2026 Summer Day of Caring as Wild Rivers Habitat for Humanity partners with the Head of the Lakes United Way for “100 Projects in One Day” — a community-wide effort focused on helping local seniors, veterans, and families through small acts of service that make a big impact.
On Wednesday, June 10th from 10AM–1PM in Ashland, volunteers and community members can help assemble “Safe at Home” kits, build simple projects, write encouraging notes to neighbors, and donate household essentials that support safety, wellness, and independence at home.
Whether you volunteer for an hour, donate a few items, or simply help spread the word, your support helps create safer, stronger, and more welcoming homes across our region.
View the flyer above for donation needs, volunteer opportunities, and registration information. Please contact Alexis Rudnicki, alexis@wildrivershabitat.org for additional information.
Serving the communities of Ashland, Bayfield, Burnett, Douglas, Polk, Price, Taylor, Rusk, and Washburn Counties since 1997.
